What is the earliest tee time?
The clubhouse is open from 7am on weekends/Bank Holidays and from 8am on weekdays. |
Do we hire buggies/trolleys?
Yes. Buggy hire £15 and Trolley hire £3 per round. It is advisable to pre-book buggies.

Do we hire Clubs?
Yes, we hire mens left and right and ladies right hand clubs – Hire charge £10 per round. |
Do we have a driving range?
Yes – tokens can be purchased from the clubhouse at £2.00 each. Bucket of balls has approx 45 balls. |
What is the dress code?
Smart Casual. Golf shoes preferred but not essential. Shirts must be collared. No denim or football shirts. |
What time do we do food?
Food is available from 10am-4pm unless a pre-booked for a society event. |
Are you on temporary greens or tees?
No – we pride ourselves on never having to use temporary greens or tees. |
Is Malton 9 or 18 holes ?
Malton is a full 18 hole course, par 72. |
Do I have to be a member to play?
No, Malton welcomes all players. |
Do we run competitions ?
Yes we run a full calendar of club events. |
How do I get a handicap ?
To gain a handicap, you must firstly become a member of Malton Golf Club. A member must submit 3 cards. Each card must be signed and witnessed by an existing “handicapped” player. At least one of the three cards must be played in one of our regular club competitions. Once a handicap has been issued, subsequent cards can be submitted to re-assess your handicap. A handicap expires at the end of a year if membership is not renewed. |
